Have you been involved in any youth project/event before?
Yes. I have been involved in several youth projects of Young Naturefriends Germany, the organizer of this summit. For example I participated at the national Children’s Summits in 2008 and 2010 and at the first European Teenager’s Summit in 2009.
Furthermore I took part in a youth exchange program with Icelandic students last year and a few years ago I attended at the UN-Tolmun project in Mexico, which is also a kind of political summit.
On the local level I am involved in a variety of youth projects as a member of the executive board of our local youth organisation „Jugendring“.
What do you want to achieve at the ETS?
I want to discuss with you about interesting (political) topics in order to communicate our political views and visions. I also look forward to a successful intercultural exchange, whereby everyone of us will make new experience and will have a lot of fun, for example in the creative Workshops as well as in the free time.
In addition it would be nice to have a long-term connection (beyond the summit).
If you had the power to change the world, what would you do?
If I had the power to change the world, I would try to make the world more equitable.
This means to me to split resources in a more equal way to give every human on this planet the equal chances to live a fulfilled life without hate, war, poverty and discrimination.
What does sustainability mean to you?
Sustainability means to me that everyone of us should avoid that his way of living neither damages natural resources nor limits the possibilities of future generations. That also includes that every human on earth could copy this lifestyle without causing any damage on life or resources.
